Fall’s Coming

We want to thank everyone that used the big dumpster that we had. You filled it up to the brim.

Remember if your mobile home insurance has expired any time between June – Oct please bring the office a copy of your renew letter. I will be sending out the letters to those that have expired ore have not given me a copy of the mobile insurance. This is a requirement of the park.

Reminder about Parking: You are allowed 2 vehicles per home site. If you have more that 2 vehicles, you must remove one from the park or rent an extra space by RV parking. The NO PARKING ON THE STREET OVERNIGHT is being enforced. Vehicles will be towed at the owners expense.

We will be resuming the replacing the water meters on the homes in the community within the next couple of months. Some have already been changed. We will notify in advance when your street is being done. Unfortunately, they are not electronically read, so reading will still be door to door.

The recycle company will not pick up boxes that are not broken down and placed inside the recycle containers. So please break boxes down and not sit them on top of the recycle containers.

The free table has been doing really good for the most part, some are still placing items that are not in good shape or clean.

Just a reminder

If you haven’t already, now is a good time to get a flu shot.

Leaves are falling – it is the time of the year for yard clean-up. Please help keep the leaves cleaned up in your yard. That will help with all the leaves that end up on the road.

Miscellaneous

The Candlewood Office will be closed between 10/12/2022 and 10/23/2022.

There’s another big trash container over by the compactor. Now is the time to get rid of those unwanted items. Please take advantage of this time to clean up around your property. PLEASE DO NO DUMP TIRES, BATTERIES, APPLIANCES, PAINT, OR OTHER TOXINS.

Remember if your mobile home insurance has expired in the last couple of months and have you not brought an updated copy to the office, please do so. I will be sending out letters to those that have insurance has expired or have not given me a copy of their new policy. This is a requirement of the park.

Parking: You are allowed two vehicles per home site. If you have more than two vehicles, you must remove one for the park or rent an extra space by the RV parking area. The NO PARKING ON STREETS policy is being enforced. Vehicles will be towed at the owners expense. There are many reasons for this rule such as:

  • Mail Delivery
  • Home Transportation
  • Emergency Vehicles

This is a safety issue to ensure that all emergency vehicles have an open and clear street to reach their destination when needed.

We will be resuming the replacement of water meters on all the homes in the community.  Some have already been changed.  We will notify you in advance when your street is being done.  Unfortunately, they are not electronically read, so reading will still be door to door.

The recycling company will not pick up boxes that are not broken down and placed inside the recycle containers.  Please break boxes down and not sit them on top of recycle containers.

Additional Monthly Charges

Ok, here’s what we all want to know. What were the additional charges on the Oct. space rent invoice. Hope this helps. back in Sept. 2020 during the fire, the City of Talent dropped all extra taxes they were charging on the water bill. Before and up to Sept. 2020, the taxes were included in your water bill. fire came, taxes stopped. City of Talent is back up and running and so are the taxes that they were charging water customers. Now the difference is they are itemizing on your bill, explaining where these taxes are going. Hop this helps somewhat!!!

Mobile Home Insurance

Reminder if your mobile home insurance has expired in the last couple months and have not brought an update copy to the office, please do so. I will be sending out letters to those that have expired or have not given me a copy of the mobile insurance. This is a requirement of the park.

Preventing Pet Dehydration

Preventing dehydration in your pets in hot weather, your dogs can overheat very easily, causing heat stroke. Be sure to always have cool fresh water available for them.  If you take your pet out playing, you must not forget to bring along a jug of water, not only for yourself, but for your dog too.  They make some really neat water containers that can strap right on to your pets back, making it possible for them to carry their own water supply.

Never leave your dog or cat in the car on hot days, because they can overhead extremely quickly.  Be sure your cats have plenty of fresh water too. Providing a drinking fountain with running water or adding a couple of ice cubes to the water bowl will sometimes encourage them to drink more water.

4th of July Picnic

Let’s do it again for Labor Day.  What do you think???  Pot luck.
